శ్రావణమాసం నైవేద్యాలు – పురుషులు ఈ వ్రతాలు చేయగలరా? – Prasadam Recipes Naivedyam
Boiled Rice – 2 cups
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tbspn chana dal
1 tbspn Peanuts
1 tbspn Urad Dal
4-5 Dried Red Chillies
2 springs curryleaves
1 pinch hing
1/2 tsp mustardseeds
2 tbsp Sesame seeds oil
1/2 cup Tamrind pulp
2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp Crushed Pepper
Salt – To Taste
Take a pan add sesame seed oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal, peanuts, dried red chillies and sauté it for 2 minutes switch off the flame add cooked tamarind pulp, hing turmeric, crushed pepper, curry leaves and add this to the boiled rice. Mix it well for few minutes and ready to serve

Poornam Borelu
Chana Dal ( Boiled) – 1 cup
Jaggery – 1/2 cup
Fennel powder – 1/4 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Dosa Batter – As Required
Grind the boiled chana dal into coarse powder then grate the jaggery into the chana dal, add a pinch of fennel powder, cardamom powder and mix it well and make them into small dumplings. Roll these chanadal balls in dry flour and them dunk them in dosa batter and fry it in medium hot oil till they turn into light golden colour.

Kattu Charu
Chana Dal Whey Water – 1 cup
Tamarind juice – 1/2 cup
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Red chillies – 2
Curry leaves- 2 sprigs
Hing – pinch
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Salt – To Taste
Water – as Required
Oil – 1 tb spn
Take a pan, add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, red chillies, pinch of hing. Now add Chana Dal whey water, tamarind juice, coriander leaves and adjust salt. Bring it to a boil and switch off the flame. serve it Hot.

Soft Boiled Rice – 2 cups
Fresh Curd – 1 1/2 cup
Ginger(chopped) – 1 tsp
Butter – 1 tsp
Hing – Pinch
Green chillies(chopped) – 2
Pomegranate seeds – 1/2 cup
Salt – To Taste
Take a bowl add soft boiled rice , curd and all the above ingredients and add salt to taste and all the above ingredients, mix it well and top it up with tempering made with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chana dal and urad dal. Serve it with some fresh pomegranate seeds.

Milk – 500 ml
Roasted Vermicelli – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Saffron – 1 pinch
Cardamom powder – 1 pinch
Take a pan, add milk bring it to a boil, add roasted vermicelli, sugar, saffron and a pinch of cardamom powder and cook it till vermicelli is soft and done.
You can serve this both hot and chilled.
